The family tree of Sea Isle is definitely a very shady one. When it comes to City Hall, taxpayers deserve to know exactly how hiring, appointments and contracts are decided. Who gets hired? Who gets appointed? Who gets contracts? Who is related to whom? And most importantly-are we always getting the most qualified person for the job? If family members, friends or political connections are considered for public positions, the process should be transparent so taxpayers can see that qualifications…not relationships…determined the outcome. They shouldn’t look like branches on a family tree
