The DEP should use eminent domain to save the 200 acres of forest threatened by the Ryan Homes development. Building 200 more new homes along Indian Trail in an already overdeveloped township will do nothing to improve the quality of life of residents. The mayor is way more concerned about what benefits Ryan Homes than he is what benefits existing residents. Existing residents is key. Middle does not need new residents. 200 more homes will just drive our taxes higher than they already are. No one wants to pay more for water and sewer either. Hope the DEP steps just preserves the land instead.
