The county commissioners should save us all fortune in taxes by just closing the County Zoo (formerly also a park) and sell all park land to the State. The Zoo isn't free! We are all paying for it. The shoobies aren't. It's just a jobs program for the GOP favorites. The Zoo was already overcrowded before they took care of those pesky trees to create more parking so they could cram even more people into the Zoo. The Zoo is costing us a fortune. All of the "upgrades" weren't free. Every upgrade also results in more trees being cut down too. It was nice when it actually was a park with tree
