The County commissioners need to finally show a commitment to preserving open space in this county. The County needs to get more aggressive in efforts to preserve land, contact landowners first rather than waiting for them to contact you. Recontact landowners that tried to preserve their land but were actually rejected. Yes, that has actually happened! Start buying larger pieces of land & bunches of smaller pieces. Any piece of land the County can preserve and prevent more houses from going up on is money well spent. Cape May County is overdeveloped. We need to save the land that is left!
