Wildwood Crest

The claim that moving from choice to tuition would raise taxes reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of school finance. Choice seats are capped at just 16 students, and funding fluctuates year to year. A tuition model allows CMS to enroll well beyond that cap, with families covering costs directly, creating a more stable, predictable revenue stream. The school has capacity to take on more students, which would more than offset lost choice revenue and significantly reduce per-pupil spending. Lower per-pupil costs benefit every taxpayer in the Crest. This is more fiscally responsible. Period.
