The Cape May spouter defending beach replenishment is wrong. Beach replenishment is a total waste of tax dollars. No one is forced to live near the beach. We shouldn't have to the fund the protection of rich beach home owners or business owners that get rich off tourists while paying their workers nothing. I don't care about tourism either. We could use way less tourists & have a smaller population here. Tourism has destroyed CMC. Most of our woods are housing developments now because tourism funded it. Let the beach towns pay for beach replenishment out of their taxes. Or wash into the sea!
