Thank you, North Wildwood Council. Summer 2025 saw young children, teenagers, and adults on bicycles, motorized electric bicycles, electric scooters, and skateboarders, frightening other seniors and me on the streets and sidewalks and in marked and unmarked crosswalks, going against traffic, coming within inches of law-abiding folks. The ordinances passed are a step in the right direction. The most important next step, which we hope will happen, is the strict enforcement of these ordinances, as without enforcement, they are worthless. and residents and visitors will be injured.
