Swainton - There was no justification for cutting down all of those trees at the county park. "Safety concerns" is nonsense. The problem wasn't lack of parking. It was too many visitors! The county just didn't want the shoobies to struggle to find parking so they can get their donations! The one place where trees should have been safe from being cut down was in that park. If the parking lots are full, people just need to go back later or another day. You don't cut down trees so you can cram another 1400 some cars in the park!
