Swainton - There is an army of bird watchers worried about the Piping Plovers. That is nice but it should not be at the expense of other wild animals. Nature does a great job protecting her kingdom and doesn't need narrow-minded people trying to outsmart her by removing other wildlife. If these people worried about this bird, why not worry a little about beach replenishment, which has and is destroying wildlife on our beaches. Then maybe we would see better wildlife throughout our beaches. The more beach replenishment, the less Piping Plovers will be seen, as pumped-in sand destroys beach life.
