Swainton - If State Police would get out of their barracks and do their job on the Parkway in Cape May County, the state could put a dent in its debt. I travel the Parkway in Cape May County twice a day, and usually at 66-70 mph in a 65-mph zone, and cars and trucks go by me like I am standing still, and I have seen many doing 85 mph and over, but no State Police, other than the ones parked at the Avalon station. I have even seen county vehicles doing well over 70 mph. I always thought State Police, on our tax dollars, were there to enforce traffic laws. I guess I was wrong. I also notice eight out of every 10 speeders are out of state.
