Swainton - I understand NJ has risen to #3 in the country for highest housing taxes. Average NJ citizen is spending 38% of their income for housing. NJ tax paying citizens need to wake up and realize what is happening to this once great state. Step One would be to ask yourself "What am I getting from the taxes I pay this State?" and write them down. Then look at some other states, and see if citizens in those states get similar benefits for a lot less taxes paid. Then consider non-resident taxes coming in as gambling, summer activity etc, and I am sure your conclusion will be NJ politicians are ripping you off.
