Middle Dems have hit new heights of hypocrisy when it comes to affordable housing. Steve Barry was part of the road trip to Trenton that set the Conifer projects in motion before either Lockwood or Donohue were in office. Town professionals got rich. The Dems handpicked housing board chose Conifer to be the developer. Barry, Delanzo and Doughty submitted the plan to the state that made the Railroad Ave. project its centerpiece. Donohue and Lockwood cleaned up the mess the best they could and Susan Delanzo voted with them on the much improved 2012 plan.
