Just got my annual threatening letter - "Notice of Tax Sale" from Middle Township. To avoid being "advertised in the Herald as well as being included in the tax sales procedure" all taxes must be paid in full by Nov 10. Firstly, I don't need to be threatened to pay my taxes and, secondly, don't these guys work for us? Taxes are due by Nov 1, but if not paid by Nov 10 your home will be listed as delinquent and listed on the tax sale. Really? Who gives them this right? 10 days grace period and then they grab your home? I don't know of any other locale with this type of confiscatory scheme!
