If you build it, they will come. If you don't build it, they can't come. The last thing this county needs is more new homes and more people. No nice place to live has ever been made better by having more people move there. Our remaining open spaces should stay open spaces. Keeping new homes off our open spaces is key to preserving the quality of life here. More new houses means more traffic, noise, taxes, higher water and sewer bills, and uglier townships.
