Strathmere - AS a Wildwood beach full time resident I want to thank Strathmere and the Army Corp for pumping sand onto Strathmere beaches. We thank you because most of your sand will be on our beaches in next 6-18 months and what doesn't get to our beaches will end up choking the ICW. The ONLY solution is a rock jetty on both sides of inlet out 1/2 mile or more and than Strathmere beach erosion will end but Army Corp will lose our tax dollars so will not happen
