Strathmere - Over 40 years of repetitive beach replenishment, and the Army Corps is still at it, and taking our hard earned dollars..There is a fix; yes it is expensive, but it won't have to be repeated every other year. Simple solution - jetty the inlets to break the NE and SE winds and storms.This will break up the tidal flow that systematically eats away at beaches. Of course, once that is done, what will the Army Corp have to do the next 40 years with no sand to pump ?
