Strathmere - It’s outrageous that Upper Township can’t allocate any funds out of our high taxes for a new playground in Strathmere. I took my grandchildren to the pathetic existing playground a couple times this summer. The equipment and grounds are neglected, overgrown with weeds, inadequate and frankly, embarrassing. Maybe Sea Isle will build us one next to their million dollar dog park.
