Strathmere - I was very sorry to read of a serious accident in Strathmere..But it was not surprising and unless things change there will be more.Upper Township has no Police Protection other than State Police coming from Woodbine..It is criminal that Strathmere is home to drunks and druggies as a result of no police protection..2am closing time sees roads full of drunks in Strathmere , but you can also find them during the day..Last week as I was about to get onto the bridge ,an obvious drunken driver made a U turn in front ,just missing 2 parked cars and sped down Ocean Drive towards Sea Isle.
