Strathmere - I just read an editorial on battle to protect our shore bird’s nesting areas I find it interesting that there is no mention of all the beach block building that has destroyed nesting areas in Cape May County. Where were they when our beach front areas which had nesting areas were being destroyed by Real Estate people? Couple Real Estate people with less than intelligent boaters ,along with beach replenishment and you clearly have a recipe to destroy life in our Wildlife .But nothing will change as birds don’t have have the money to fight the battle so bird population will keep dropping.
