Strathmere - I am a non-resident homeowner in Strathmere who pays a LOT in taxes BUT I can't vote in local elections .Unable to vote as non resident results in inshore politicians elected who have no idea of Ocean currents but depend on Army Corp for advice.Army Corp loves it as it guarantees them huge amounts of money for their beach refilling projects.If they would jetted our inlets in Cape May County both sides they could get the beach erosion stopped AND less choking of inland waterways and improved fishing.
