Strathmere - Another storm hit Strathmere, and another flood and more sand pulled off the beaches. The moving sand is being pushed inside inlet and choking inshore channels. The ongoing beach replenishment has also turned our beaches into deserts with no life. Sand being pumped in is a different grain size allowing for easy movement. Only solution is rock jetties for inlet main channel and slow down sand movement. One big storm and it's goodbye Strathmere.
