Stone Harbor - Why would you build a library in the middle of town where you have to pay an annual fee to get a book out? So is this a library for the top one percent? This library will not serve the working people of the town and more important, it will tell visitors and renters that they are not really welcome here in Stone Harbor. The intellectual elite needs to re-think this social stratification.

Moderator's Note: 
Deborah Poillon, director of the Cape May County Library, in an email to the Herald July 12, stated, "The library is free to everyone, except residents and visitors to Avalon and Ocean City, as those two communities do not pay taxes to the county library system."
