Stone Harbor - We read with interest the recent library article. In it, Rich and Lane boasted about how they fought for the people of the town in bringing the library from the beach because that's what the majority wanted. While the library location was contentious, more people wanted it on the beachfront then didn't. This was proven in a survey. The building was in excess of 10,000 square feet and geothermal. A far cry from the closet we have now. The delays caused by them cost the county close to $1 million in additional costs, but we'll give them credit, they got it done in almost 11 years.
