Stone Harbor - The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) are a classic example of why we need tax reform immediately as Trump proposes. The USVI is a playground for the rich in the Caribbean, and the rich need the tax breaks to rebuild. The jobs of a tourist-dependent economy involving bars, restaurants, shopping, and resorts can only rebound for the working class if the rich come back. The rich absolutely must have these tax incentives otherwise they will take the insurance money and bolt to another tropical paradise that is up to their standards. The USVI working class must be stabilized to benefit luxury clients.
