Stone Harbor - To the Stone Harbor Spout advocating for a new fire engine based upon the new building code/flood elevations. We’ve had 4 & 5 story buildings for decades. (Hull Harbor & Golden Shores) also 3+ story homes have existed in SH since its inception and were allowed into the 1980s. Are you suggesting our current fire fleet &fire company doesn’t have adequate & proper fire protection for these buildings & just now in 2023 it’s come to light that these buildings are not adequately protected by our current fleet and that is justifying our towns spending like a drunken sailor on a new toy for the dept.
