Stone Harbor - The speed at which cars drive down 3rd Ave is dangerous. It is disgraceful that the police condone it by either sitting in their fleet of vehicles parked on 95th street or driving around at high speeds themselves. They never pull anyone over anymore. And honestly, they enforce NOTHING. I miss the days when Stone Harbor’s police had a real presence & made this a safer community. Everyone knows this is a major problem but is afraid to speak about it publicly. So I am desperately hoping one of the many officials who read Spout Off do something before the next tragedy.
