Stone Harbor - So more than 12 people were able to convince the council to build platform tennis courts. Property owners association argued that money should not be taken from budgeted items but were ignored. It’s only going to take 5 years to pay off the cost. Why not have the 12 people plus the other platform players pay for the cost and give them 5 years of free membership. Give them the concession to run the courts. Our taxes are going to increase 6% but council keeps spending. The tax increase will not drive anyone out of town but how can we spend without the money to pay for projects?
