Stone Harbor - This past July a request for a bike rack in front of a 12-unit office building was declined because the council member in charge of Public Works said the budget for such things had been exhausted. The bike rack was only installed after the business paid for it. I now learn that the town has found $102,000 to bury a utility supply line for one block for aesthetic reasons. That was a lot of loose change to find in the council chair cushions, or were the residents of that block asked to pay for it?
