Stone Harbor - One would think that if you can put a minimum of 50,000 miles on a car, that you could at least put that many miles on a fire truck. Why then is SH replacing a fire truck that had only 10-15, 000 miles on it? Cars don't wear out even if they are 10 years old with low milage and are well maintained.
There are many Fire Companies that have fire trucks that are way older than 10 years old. Also, the cover communities that are far larger than SH. An expense for a new truck was something we didn't need.
