Stone Harbor - At the Nov. 5 council meeting, the construction of new lifeguard headquarters was injected into the requested installation of modular restroom facilities. What is that unnecessary building going to cost? Why can’t the existing building be renovated? We are tearing one down to build basically the same in the same spot. Come on council, let’s be fiscally responsible and invest in beach replenishment and flood control, along with back bay dredging. Stop spending money just because it is there.
