Stone Harbor - Non-essential fire alarms are loud alarms that are no longer necessary for the effective fighting of fires. In modern times, i.e. today, in the year 2017, more towns than not do not blare stationary fire alarms because they are not necessary. Would more towns than not have eliminated these stationary fire alarms if that decision placed the town's residents in danger? Do you honestly believe this? Why not ask a fire captain/chief/volunteer from a town that doesn't feel the need to wake up every person, from newborn babies to the elderly, for every, as you said false or faulty fire alarm?
