Stone Harbor - My family and friends have spent the last 24 years celebrating the Fourth of July here in Stone Harbor. What happened this year? We typically enjoy the full day of festivities, home run derby, concert, funnel cakes and fireworks on the recreation field. Having the fireworks July 2, and broken up events on different days caused some to miss out on what was always a wonderful holiday. The fireworks display was a total disappointment. Please go back to the great celebration it has always been at our beautiful recreation center.
