Stone Harbor - Before the McMansions most of the cottages remained empty from mid September to Mid May. When the town had snow the DPW only plowed the side streets that people lived on year round. Good way for the police to check and see if anyone was on a block in off season. Footprints and or tire tracks showed activity either legal or illegal.
