Stone Harbor - I'd like to know where the extra tax money went. I got a 20 percent tax hike from the reassessment. Included in that is a windfall for the county, board of education, library and Open Space. Plus, we got a tax increase on top of this, plus we borrowed $5 million for maintenance projects. For the last 25 years, we have had inept financial management on council, as there have never been reserves set up, and we have $35 million in debt and used the money for maintenance. They can't do this. Capital yes, maintenance no. But, we have no trouble buying new sweepers, cars, trucks, you name it. It's very frustrating.
