Has anyone else noticed the carpet threadbare steps in Borough H

Stone Harbor - Has anyone else noticed the carpet threadbare steps in Borough Hall? It's hard to imagine the Borough can't find funds to replace the very worn out carpeting. It does not portray an image local residents expect for the taxes they pay!
