Stone Harbor - Four members of Stone Harbor Council pulled the most dishonest and deceitful vote at the recent council meeting. After two public meetings concerning the purchase of Smuggler's Cove, the four councilpersons realized that the public support was gaining for the purchase. They then called for an unannounced vote on the purchase at the end of the meeting. The public had no warning of the vote because it was not on the agenda. This is politics at its worst. It is obvious that they were representing themselves, and not the residents of Stone Harbor.
