Probably because it is overpriced and in need of massive amount of capital to bring it up to present and future EPA regulations. I don’t see how it “leads to water access.” Can’t boaters get fuel in Avalon and at 96 St Marina. Council, come down to earth and start looking at spending taxpayer money on ways to mitigate the flooding issue. How about finding a way to clean up the back bay. Forget about being a landlord! Use money for borough business not a pet project.
