Stone Harbor - Consider two articles in the June 15 Herald: "....at least one-half of the final project expense (the $1 billion dollar bridge replacement cost estimate) is paying for DEP permitting and consultants to guide us through the permits.” And "there were 11 agencies involved in permitting and regulating the industry (start-up of an oyster farm) and it can 'take years to get started because things move very slowly.'" When are we going to move towards a balance between the economy, jobs, and environmental protection? The scale is now tilted without balance.
