Stone Harbor - On April 13, I was on the 96th Street Bridge. It opened and did not close all the way. Traffic backed up and I was forced to make a K-turn to get off the bridge. Now, silly as that statement is, it is not the first time I had to do that. Six times in three months is unacceptable. That bridge is old, and if someone needed to go to the hospital, the ambulance would have to go through Avalon or North Wildwood. Ten minutes is the difference between life or death. The county should build a new bridge. Making repairs on an old bridge is a waste of tax dollars.
