Yes, the Seven Mile Island I remember was nothing like it is today. The amazing cottages and nice people have been replaced by mansions and arrogance. The Fall and Winter seasons return the island of long ago to us for a short period of time and it is then that "we" get a chance to enjoy "our town" the way it used to be.
