We need to be careful with all these new homes going up. They don't always have the character and charm of the old ones, and given that may alter the unique aesthetic of our town. People flock to SH for the lack of development and grandeur, for its simplicity, but the new generation of rich people don't seem to understand this, nor does anyone who encourages it for economic reasons. Eventually, if the town's understated, unpretentious quality is not preserved, SH will no longer be desirable and people will stop coming.
