As usual the Spouter picks out something that does not pertain to current fire truck being purchased. The part about rear axels pertains to a hook and ladder used in metropolitan areas. New technology enables more water pressure to be obtained in getting water on a fire. There are other updated uses in articles on line. I just hope that we do get new piece of equipment and if called upon it will be able to help save a life or home.
