Stone Harbor tried changing the fireworks date a few years ago and got immediate pushback as residents wanted to keep it on the traditional July 4th date. It's only been this way for 100 years. July 3rd is a trainwreck and the Mayor should know better. The previous mayor tried this and took the heat. I guess this mayor loves heat.
