There are millions of people in jail for committing crimes with a gun. Perhaps if they couldn’t get a gun in a he first place, that might work. There are many people who commit suicide. Perhaps if there wasn’t a gun accessible to them, it might help. There are many people with mental illness. Perhaps if guns capable of killing multiple people in seconds, were no longer manufactured, that could help stop mass shootings. Perhaps if the constitution was amended taking away the right for every person of age to own as many guns as they like, that could work. See, there are things that can be done.
