The really hilarious thing is that SH has had a volunteer fire company since 1910 ( now it is a combination department) and none of the current detractors have ever been members of it. Let’s see them put money where their big mouths are, go on down and join. The Borough and its fire company have been buying fire apparatus and successfully protecting life and property for all that time and all of the sudden, these guys know better. Build a pickleball palace; okay. Build a Beach Patrol Taj Mahal; okay. Buy a new fire truck; wasteful! What a joke.
