At the POA meeting in Stone Harbor, the mayor stated that the library project will begin in the Fall. We've heard this before. When asked about removal of the outflow pipes on the northern end beaches, yet another evasive answer was given. She was asked about merging the police force with Avalon. With a slap in the face to our northern brothers and sisters, the mayor said that she felt she would not have the same degree of confidence and that feeling of safety should Stone Harbor merge with Avalon. Seriously? This is about job security and power more than anything else.
