People who want others to "get over" the new, metal, utility poles have no sense of aesthetics and are easily manipulated by the powers-that-be (in this case ACE). Underground lines are the future, not doubling the height of ugliness so it towers over all else. Humans should seek progress in all areas, which includes aesthetics. Plus underground lines can't suffer wind damage, which is the reason ACE gave for power being out with this storm. Keep your strictly utilitarian ideas in the past where they belong.
