Paid parking only benefits the merchants. If they had free parking, the merchants would complain that no one could park in front of their store to park. Why should my tax dollars be used to pay for and enforce the parking that only helps the few. Maybe the chamber should pay for the meter maids and then the cost to Stone Harbor would be zero with Park Mobile.
