Once again the Stone Harbor Chamber of "no" Commerce has scheduled their fund raising event in Avalon. The only logical excuse for this I can think of is all the free parking Stone Harbor provides for this Avalon venue. All the while, Stone Harbor meter maid men pound the shopping area pavement on weekday mornings scaring tourists and writing tickets. Council should approve construction of a 15-foot wall surrounding the shopping district and charge admission. Then they can sit back and wonder why nobody shops here.
