Okay, to all the second-home property tax payers in Stone Harbor, please do not expect the year-round people to act fiscally. They are of the mindset that you have lots of money and can afford to pay exorbitant taxes for all of council’s pet projects but smart enough to recognize incompetency. Year-round residents are afraid of the mayor and council and secretly hope that the second-home owners will save them because they know they will eventually not be able to keep up with the taxes. Good luck with that strategy.
